I'm late posting our weekend service review in Oakville, but here it is.Call to Worship: Lamentations 3:21-25
We began the service by reading together God's word. Starting services with scripture is a win win every time. God's word is what stirs peoples hearts, nothing I could say or do, no matter how energetic or true could spur the heart like God's word can. When heard, it always responds in worship.G Come, Christians Join and Sing
A Song of the Angels
A One Pure and Holy Passion
Baptisms: 14 great testimonies!
We bridged the too all three services with a simple chorus "We exalt thee" thanking the Lord for all He has done in the lives of so many at Harvest. The congregation sat during this chorus and then I prayed out of it.Announcements/Offering
O Bless the Lord
This song is one of my favorite tracks on the "Lift up the Name" album. It was written by my good friends Matthew Westerholm and Lindsay Pritchett.Sermon: Craig Turnbull: Psalm 4
Pastor Robbie has the next two weekends off and so that means I get to work with other staff or guest speakers. This weekend Craig Turnbull did a great job at clearly conveying a strong message to trust in the one who brings hope, peace and rest. Jesus Christ!Close: Stronger
